EMPLOYMENT LAW

Our services include obtaining instructions from clients, examining and reviewing relevant documents, advising and providing legal opinions, preparing and drafting relevant documents or agreements, managing communication and follow-up with the parties involved, and representing employers and/or employees for the following work:

REPRESENTING EMPLOYERS

  • Defence for wrongful dismissal claims;

  • Defending a claim for constructive dismissal;

  • Employee claims related to wages, commissions and employment benefits;

  • Claims related to breach of performance bond / training bond;

  • Preparation and review of HR documents, including:

⁍ Employment Contract (Employment Contract);

⁍ Company policies (HR Policies & Employee; Handbook);
⁍ Show Cause Letter;
⁍ Warning Letter;
⁍ Notice of Misconduct;
⁍ Domestic Inquiry (DI) documents;
⁍ Notice of Termination; or
⁍ Contract renewal letter.

 

 

  • Preparation of employment-related agreements including:

⁍ Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA);
⁍ Confidentiality Agreement;
⁍ Non-Compete Agreement;
⁍ Non-Solicitation Agreement; or
⁍ Intellectual Property (IP) Assignment Agreement.

  • Advice on disciplinary procedures and compliance with employment laws;

  • Negotiation of settlements between employers and employees;

  • Manage claims at the Department of Manpower (JTK); or

  • Representation of the employer in the Industrial Court.
